July 9     Early Judging (Please call for appointment)

July 22   Special Interest Judging and Cloverbud Interviews (9:00 am - 3:30 pm)

July 22   Clothing Judging (3:00 - 8:00 pm)

July 23   Foods Judging (8:30 am - 2:00 pm)

July 23   Livestock Skillathons (See schedules for exact appointment time)

July 31   Completion Judging (Please call for appointment)

What is 4-H?

4-H is a youth development program supported by the land-grant university in each state (in this case The Ohio State University) that encourages young people to reach their fullest potential through:

• Hands-on and experiential learning that facilitates learning by doing;

• Growth that encourages successes and challenges;

• Exploring a wide range of opportunities;

• Providing supportive and nurturing environments and relationships that empower young people to voluntarily help themselves and each other.

• "H" represents one of the four "H's" - Head, Heart, Hands, and Health.

• The 4-H name and emblem is protected by Congress, and held in trust by the Secretary of Agriculture.

• In the county, the Extension educators delegate their use to 4-H groups.
